We do not have live actors in our rooms and legally we can’t do anything that might cause you harm… but you may get a scare or two, depending on the theme you choose!

Yes! Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited, so we can’t guarantee an immediate game. We strongly recommend calling ahead to make sure a slot is available before making the trip.

Just bring yourself – and your brain (fully charged, please)! Reading glasses if you need them are fine too. Phones, keys, and snacks go in our trusty lockers, so nothing gets in the way of your Epic Escape.

We will do our best to accommodate changes and cancellations. In most cases, Epic Escape will provide a full refund for any cancellations, provided we are notified at least 24 hours prior to a booking. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy in our Terms and Conditions for more information.

An escape room is a fun team challenge where you have one hour to figure out how to escape from the room. Guests are immersed in a realistic environment and surrounded by a series of puzzles and clues while the clock quietly counts down your time. Teams must solve all the games using the clues and props provided in order to escape before the time runs out!

Our games are designed to keep adults entertained, therefore some puzzles may be more challenging for children.

Yes, it is completely safe to play. We take Health and Safety very seriously here at Epic Escape so you will never actually be locked in the room, we will always give you an emergency exit.

You’re all good! Our rooms are spacious enough for up to six players to move, explore and excitedly point at things while shouting “that’s a clue!”. Nothing is tiny, cramped or claustrophobic, and while some rooms use dim lighting for atmosphere, you’ll always be able to see comfortably.

The door closes for the game, but you’re never truly “locked in” the room. An emergency exit button is available at all times, letting you step out instantly for any reason – no questions asked. Your safety is our top priority, and in an emergency you can leave the room quickly and safely.

We want every player in the room to have a great experience and therefore we have limited our game size to 6 players. Any more than this and some team member are likely to miss out on parts of the game. For this reason, with groups over 6 participants we do ask you to split into two smaller teams and attempt different rooms simultaneously. Please contact us to organise this.

We want you to escape within the allotted time so we will keep an eye on your progress and try to assist you to escape. If you are close to finishing and our other bookings allow we may be able to give you an extension to finish the game.

We occasionally make small adjustments to improve our games, but the majority of the puzzles will remain the some throughout the life of the room theme.

Virtual reality (VR) is an immersive experience that places you inside a fully interactive 3D world. Wearing a headset and using controllers, you can look around, move, and interact with your surroundings just like you would in real life. VR makes you feel like you’re really part of the game, letting you explore, solve challenges, and have fun in a world that feels alive.

Our VR games are designed for a wide range of players, from ages 10 to 70+. If standing for an hour isn’t ideal, we can provide seating so everyone can enjoy the experience comfortably. Whether you’re young, young-at-heart, or somewhere in between, there’s a game for you!

Ofcourse! Unlike some VR experiences, at Epic Escape you and up to 5 mates can dive into the same virtual world together. See each other, talk and hatch your plan for (virtual) world domination! Solo missions are possible, but VR is always more fun with your mates!

At this stage, we have a maximum capacity of 6 people in our VR arena.

Yes, we have a range of game titles with plenty of family-friendly options.

No strict rules, but comfy shoes are a win. You’ll be standing, moving and maybe trying to dodge flaming arrows… so support those feet!

Our VR adventures are safely indoors, with ice cold air conditioning in summer and toasty heaters in winter. Outside weather? Doesn’t affect your game, so you can stay comfortable no matter what’s happening outside!

Yes, most games involve standing and limited movement within a 2m x 2m zone. The game keeps track of you, so you won’t accidently high-five a wall with your face.

Absolutely. You can wear glasses or contacts underneath the headset.

High ponytails and buns can clash with VR headstraps. A low pony or braid keeps your hair safe, and your headset comfy.

You will have constant communication with us through your headset. Feel unwell? Give us a shout or take a breather. You are welcome to remove your headset at any point if you need a break.

Yes, the VR games can even be played while seated.
